What is obstructive sleep apnea?
Sleep apnea is a sleeping disorder that causes breathing to be briefly and repeatedly interrupted during sleep. There are several types of sleep apnea, but the most common (and dangerous) is Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) when the airway passage becomes blocked or collapsed.
Your bedmate may notice that you gasp, choke, or snore loudly during the night. Although these breathing pauses last for only a few seconds, your sleep is continuously interrupted and your body experiences lower than normal oxygen levels. Your brain is waking you up because it needs oxygen!

What our patients are saying about us
"I am so impressed with this practice! We found them while hosting an 11 year old orphan from Latvia. Not only did she do top-notch dental work for him, she was so kind and patient with him, acting out all of the parts of the procedure since he didn't speak English! One of the staff even mentioned she had tried to brush up on her Russian language skills and used a few Russian phrases with him. I cannot even articulate how much that meant to us. Above and beyond, for sure!" - Tiffany L.
"In my last visit with Dr. Freeman, I had a crown, a filling, and some adjustments to another tooth. Although my visit took 2 hours, it was very pleasant. Dr Freeman is always smiling when she comes in. She is very attentive, caring and has as gentle touch when working in my mouth. She explains every step of the process as she is working. I would highly recommend her for anyone who is afraid of dentists." - Henry Y.
"I recently have had quite a bit of dental care on my old teeth. Dr. Freeman and her team did a great job caring for me. So gentle, professional and friendly. My mouth feels so much better!! Don't hesitate to choose this dental office. You will be glad you did." - J. D.
